With Governor Inslee’s recent COVID-19 update to indoor restrictions, we would like to remind you of the various ways Salal is here to assist you and your family. As we continue to face this historic pandemic, your health, safety, and financial wellbeing remain our top priority.
Emergency Relief Program
If you or your family have been impacted by COVID-19 and need financial support, we’re here to help. We developed our Emergency Relief Program as a direct response to assist members impacted by COVID-19. To date, hundreds of members have taken advantage of the program’s benefits and received financial relief. I urge all members to contact us if they are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 related employment loss, reduction of hours, or a medical diagnosis. Visit our Emergency Relief Program page to learn more and see eligibility requirements.
Online and Mobile Banking Access
We strongly encourage you to use our free Mobile and Online Banking services, as well as ATMs, whenever possible. These 24/7 digital and remote banking services can help keep you safe and save time. Access your accounts through Online Banking at SalalCU.org and via our Mobile App whenever you need it. You can view transactions, check balances, transfer funds, find an ATM, and more. If you need help enrolling, please call our Virtual Branch or visit SalalCU.org and click the Enroll link within the Online Banking secure login box. More remote and digital banking help can be found on our Tutorials page.
Virtual Branch Call Center
Along with helping you sign up for Mobile and Online Banking, our Virtual Branch call center is here to assist you with services such as account transfers or other questions about your accounts. Give them a call at 800.562.5515.
Member Outreach
Our Member Outreach team can assist you in opening new deposit accounts or applying for a new loan or credit card. Call 206.298.3494 to talk with a Member Outreach representative.
Branch Access
Our five local branches will remain open to members on an appointment-only basis. We’re continuing to follow the guidance of our local health officials and recommended best practices for keeping our members and employees safe. Precautionary measures include the use of germ barriers, enhanced cleaning, and increased sanitation of high-touch surfaces.
We continue to be concerned about community spread of the virus. Because of this, we ask members to only make appointments for transactions that require branch assistance. Routine transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, transfers, or account inquiry questions can be conveniently done through our Mobile and Online Banking services. If you have a transaction that requires the assistance of a Salal staff member, branch appointments can be scheduled by contacting the branch closest to you. For a list of branch locations, hours, and contact information click here. Please stay safe, healthy, and reach out by giving us a call at 800.562.5515 if you have any questions on how we can help. I encourage all of you to remain diligent in our community’s fight to end the spread of COVID-19. Together we can beat the virus.
